Accidents We Love

You know when you driving on the highway, and you think that what a wonderful day it is to be driving on such a beautiful day like right now, and the next time you know Ka-boom-boom-pow! Accident occurs. You never thought it could happen to you but it just did. But guess what, your not alone.

There have been plenty of accidents on the highway. The common accidents happen because driver was sleepy or bad handling or avoiding something on the road. But do you know quite a number of accidents happen for a reason? Like it was all planned for it to happen?

My friend was driving back to JB with a bunch of his friends. Okay, he might have been a bit too fast (140 – 150) and it was drizzling but he was rushing back. The road was curving to the right at about Tangkak area. While he was turning his vehicle to the right (duh the road is going that way), the car turned yes, but they were still moving in a straight direction. So the car went to the left, flew over the big ‘longkang’, and stopped like inches from the fences, cause they hit a tree .

First thing pops in your mind would be, “Aiya, he’s driving FAST in the RAIN of course ma!” That’s what would i say either BUT how is that even possible when there was 2 cars before him that gone through the same accident and another 1 after him? Let me do the calculation for you, 2 + 1 + 1 = 4! And all of them are at the same place? One of the driver drove 90 and he swerve to the left of the road? Come on.  90? Geez. People usually drive faster and they don’t swerve off that far but 90?

Back to the story, the police arrived much later but guess what, the foreman came in just 15 minutes after the first accident! And his workshop is like 45 minutes away from that place? WTF right. I know its about 45 minutes away because I had to pick up my friend from the police station (which is not far away from the accident) and head towards the workshop. Police was like, ” You guys need to be more careful about this roads, it might not be the rain that make you guys went off-road you know.” They know something is fishy! They know about it yet they just took the report. Why? Cause bloody Malaysian police get paid to keep their mouth shut! That’s why!

Accident

After further investigation by the firemen, they said that the road was slippery due to oil. Knew there was something fishy about it. Apparently, the police knew that in a few areas southbound that there will usually be an accident. So far the most famous place is:

- Tangkak area (km 140 – 150)

When we were at the workshop, I was amazed! Simply astonished! How can someone have such a huge warehouse for all the accident cars that was there? And i dare say that most of them are from highway accidents. You should have seen the cars that were there, M3, 5 series, Harrier, E-class, S-class, City and so on so forth. And you guys should have seen the amount of cars that was there, if I am not mistaken, 100 – 150 cars. I was like, ” Crap! How the F*$# these cars too get into THIS workshop alone? Pretty sure they have done it for quite sometime for all I know. The “tauke” told my friend not to worry about the accident and stuff; he even PAID my friend for a ride back to JB and for dinner with 2 more friends. He PAID my friend to keep the car at his workshop. And I was like, “Hell, I should get into accident too!” (Touch wood, touch wood).

My idea is that the workshop people claims from the insurance company with higher value of course, use second-hand items, or cheap parts from another source, and just quickly finish the job. And they did quickly finish the job, in like 1 week, that’s pretty fast for a like medium type of accident. I saw a lot of types of cars there, and the damage was serious, but they can finish it in like 2 to 3 weeks, MAX. Shit, if the “tauke” can even pay my friend and 2 of his friends for food and transport back to JB, imagine how good his business is doing, and how much cash he has! I saw a roll of 50’s when he took out the money to pay my friend. Later on I found out he has a few more workshops! Dyemm!

Well, if you guys are on a highway and your involved in an accident, first things first. Call PLUS! 1-800-88-0000, the number is so simple it sticks inside your head, unless you have problem memorizing that is . But don’t be amazed if the foreman came first before the police or PLUS people, cause it could be their doing for all this.

So for you people who are on a trip using the highway, do be careful! Cause there might be these types of people who make money with other people’s loss.

hey, did u know there’s a battle between tow companies? i know they carry about walkie talkies even in KL area and let’s say there’s an accident, there could be a minimum of 2 tow truck companies there vying over who settles it.they offer cheaper repair costs and whatnot. ITS CRAZY!

don’t just be careful on highways. these people are everywhere!!

On the way back from Singapore once, NS highway, my brothers Mitsu Trition swerved off the road into the barrier due to oil purposely applied on the road to trap innocent motorists. Not even 2 minutes later a yellow wiralution pulled up in front of us with a yellow siren beacon thingy, guy came down with walkie talkies and shit calling his tow truck buddies. It’s all a bloody scam their running.

It’s really sad to hear that this happens, and I’m pretty sure it happens in other countries too. But think of how many lives were taken away just so that someone could make a 100 dollars towing the car away.

Are all Malaysian roads like this?

Hmmm, well not all, usually you hear about cases like this only on long outstation highways, but recently these tow truck/workshop tycoons have got more bold and are also rigging regular roads here and there.
