Having won 6 grand prix this season, Jenson Button seems to be the next Formula One champion. But with his loss of form ever since Turkey, he blamed that the Mercedes powered Brawn car is lacking development. Well, Rubens Barrichello proved him wrong, the car is perfect, just simply perfect, but one driver don’t seem to be all up to it. So, what’s his excuse for his loss of form?
“He’s got the Yips (unexplained loss of form)”, says David Coulthard. It’s got nothing to do with his talent nor his ability to steer a car to a championship, but it’s got something to do with his mind.
With his championship lead at 72 points, 18 points ahead of his teammate Rubens Barrichello, chances of him loosing the 2009 championship is high. “Can he lose the championship from here? Of course he can”, says Martin Brundle.
Belgium is next, and Jenson will need to prove himself, again. Come on Jenson, get your mind straight!

The Yips! Just like Barney in How I Met Your Mother
Exactly, the Yips!
Yip yip yips! Sucks though, thought Button would at least maintain his podium form till the end of the season..well on the bright side though, things would probably be more interesting.
