Videos: Nissan 200SX S14 by Format67

German director Daniel Michaelis has a special skill when it comes to directing car videos, they some how seem very much alive! Simply his camera technique, lightining skills and spot on music selection involves the viewer within the adrenaline pumping scenes in his videos. Rather made popular by his BMW 130Tii video release not too long ago Daniel has a whole array of videos which he shares on popular video sites like Youtube & Vimeo. His recent releases include a mean Nissan S14 Silvia drift machine burning rubber in an isolated car park some where in the middle of Germany. No stranger to praise, Daniel’s videos are pretty much applauded by everyone who comes across them and bad comments are a very rare sight, however this video in particular came under a fair bit of criticism from Subaru Rally Team USA driver Ken Block supporters as Daniel clearly points out that his 200sx video was not to be compared with Ken Blocks Gymkhana videos and bickers a wee bit about how things are run in real life streets, pointing out that the S14 was no sponsored car or what not, which I think is quite a sucker punch and stare down to Ken and his easily recognizable Monster Livery Subaru Impreza, sparing none Daniel also takes a crack at Ken’s DC shoe ownership too which I found pretty funny. Honestly I am no real fan to Ken, I do agree that he has insane driving skills that I would kill to posses however I must say that I was definitely more entertained by Daniel’s video, I prefer Nissans to Subarus, I like Germans more than Americans and I prefer the streets to life in the fast lane on the road to fame.
