The BBC has reporeted that The Stig has been arrested by the police in Dublin, Ireland.
The report comes in from the official site of Top Gear, which most likely we suspect is a publicity stunt to promote the new season of Top Gear which starts on November 15. Another fact which makes this report ever so bogus is the fact that Top Gear Live World Tour will be held in Dublin in December later this year.
According to the report the friendly policeman stopped The Stig as he was driving along and go the white suited mystery man out of the car and into police custody. An onlooker has this to say
“I didn’t see what happened exactly,” said one onlooker, “but it was probably really bad. Maybe he punched a swan or tried to push one of the Hairy Bikers into the river. Again.”
The police has to comment on incident, and we believe they never will. This is not the first time The Stig has gotten himself tangled up with the authorities. Last time around it was with the Scottish police where The Stig failed to present any documentation on his kit car he was driving.
Will The Stig unmask for the Irish police? we think not. However if anyone has any information in regards to the matter please do let us know, as we are keen to know more.
