The Singapore topless car wash was a spectacle, one that many would love to get their cars washed. The Singapore Authorities were getting antsy about this occasion, and it seems that the founder of Tease & Wash, Mr. Gerald Chen is certainly getting into some serious trouble now.

A model reported that she lied about her age; she lied about being 3 years older as she is only 16 years of age. The New Paper, Singapore reported, “The model “Belle”, had initially told both him (Gerald Chen) and the freelance agent who found the models that she was 19. Neither of them had checked her IC (Identification Card) before the event.”
She also said, “I don’t think I would have a problem with just my body online, But my face was shown, then I’m going to be in deep trouble”.
Her parents know that she is in modeling, but they do not know about the topless modeling.
In another case, one of the models, 19, was expelled from school, after someone recognizes her from the pictures posted online and reported to the school authorities. It is also reported that she got expelled just 2 months before finishing her advance diploma course, this also means that she will have to leave Singapore.
The agent is also having some payment dispute with the founder, he was supposed to be paid SGD$ 5,000 in total, but the agent claimed that he got a mere $3,000 in total.
So something controversial turning really sour now, what is going to happen next?

Double standards. So the women who pose topless are punished and excoriated in the press but not the men who go to have their cars washed??!! The motoring company or whatever that organised this event is utterly pathetic. Sad to see such rampant sexism still alive and well in SE Asia…..
