Barrichello To Williams

Williams F1 confirmed that Rubens Barrichello will be piloting their Formula 1 car in the 2010 season. It is also confirmed that his teammate will be Nico Hulkenberg who was the team’s test driver. Other changes would be the power-plant, a switch from Toyota to Cosworth.

“Rubens needs no introduction,” said Frank Williams. “He is not only the most experienced driver in Formula One, but a passionate and talented driver who fought hard for the drivers’ championship this year.”

With KERS out of the picture, Williams can now focus their budget on building a better car. The 2009 season certainly did some damage on their pockets.
