Stig’s Favorite Car

I thought The Stig’s favorite car would be the Pagani Zonda, I got it wrong, it seems that the Zenvo ST1 is his true home (in white of course). The car is quintessentially Danish, sounds like his birthplace? Nah, I’d rather think that the planet that Stig came from was called Zenvo.

The pair is mated with a 7.0 liter V8, which produces 1100bhp (connected with a 6-speed Ricardo manual transmission), that’s 100 more than the Veyron. No wonder this is his new turf. Amongst the other goodies is a set of front and rear double wishbones that are flushed with adjustable gas-hydraulic Ohlins shock absorbers.

It is said that this super car rides comfortably, in-fact, it might be running a little too soft to be anywhere near a super car. That said, Stig would need all the comfort he can get to lunge him back to his planet. But to stop him from crashing while landing, Zenvo equipped the car with ventilated steel disc brakes by Brembo, 380mm front and 280mm rear (6 pot pistons).

0-100 km/h is achieved under 3 seconds and a limited top speed of 375 km/h, a tad slower than the Veyron at the top end, but let’s wait till the limiter is taken in as breakfast by The Stig. Having said that, the car weighs at 1,376 kg, that’s featherweight for something that packs with a huge punch.

Calculation shows 802 bhp / tonne.

What is this car for then (for humans)? I reckon it is built to rip the smiles off the Veyron drivers. Indeed. More tea perhaps? Price starts at EUR 800,000.

I just found my favorite car of the century. Sorry Stiggy…
