The BMW M 1-Series has been taken off BMW’s production plan, and the reason is not due to the economic crisis.

Building a car which will inevitably overtake its big sister would have been the stupidest idea ever for any manufacturing company, it works the same for BMW, producing the M 1-Series is and will certainly kill the BMW M3, pulling back a little on power and performance will degrade it from being a M car.

The answer?

Production chop on the M 1-Series, and production begins on the 135is. The current BMW 135is will receive a more powerful updated N54 twin-turbo engine, 330bhp and a heck load of torque, that said, it will also come with an over-boost function which will deliver the car extra power for a brief moment.

Of course, the car will also come with M sport Suspension, M sport kit, M sport Aerodynamics and a whole load of fun.
