Qualifying 1:

7:12pm: The head teams are still way out in front in terms of the time set. New teams are still struggling to beat the 1:58:00 barrier.

7.16pm: Both Red Bulls have just edged up to P1 & P2 with Vettel leading the pack.

7:17pm: Michael Schumacher is leaving the pits with fresh tyres.

7:18pm: Petrov seems to be having a handful with his Renault, sliding all over the place.

7:19pm: Fernando Alonso bumps his car up to P1 with 1:54:612.

7:20pm: Checkered flag is out, end of Q1

7:21pm: J Alguersuari, T Glock, J Trulli, L Di Grassi, H Kovalainen, B Senna, K Chandhok, are not moving into Q2.

7:24pm: So that means Virgin, Lotus, and HRT will not participate in Q2.

Qualifying 2:

7:28pm: Cars are leaving the pits for Q2.

7:29pm: Virgin seems to be really pleased to beat Lotus.

7:30pm: Vettel on P1 with 1:54:035.

7:32pm: Alonso unable to match Vettel.

7:34pm: Williams is still very much the leading Cosworth team.

7:35pm: The Sauber team looks pretty darn stunning, just remember to cross BMW out of the equation.

7:36pm: Schumacher unable to match Rosberg’s time, still struggling with the Mercedes handling.

7:39pm: Everyone is on track, 2 minutes to go before Q2 ends.

7:41pm: Buemi having clear track in front of him as he starts his flyer.

7:41pm: McLaren looks worried as Jenson Button locks up into the first corner.

7:42pm: Checkered flag waved. Q2 ends, but what about those that are still on their flyer?

7:43pm: Button 10th and Schumacher 9th, will they be able to make it through?

7:44pm: R Barrichello, V Liuzzi, N Hulkenberg, P De La Rosa, S Buemi, K  Kobayashi and V Petrov are eliminated.

Qualifying 3:

7:46pm: The Red Bulls are matching the Ferraris, impressive!

7:49pm: Adrian Sutil is looking good with Force India.

7:52pm: Massa starts his Q3 flying lap.

7:54pm: Another 5 minutes to go.

7:55pm: Alonso P1, Massa P2

7:55pm: Remember, this season each car is only allowed with 11 sets of tyres.

7:57pm: Jenson in pits for a stop and go tyre change.

7:57pm: The entire field is running in favor on the softer option.
