That said, the S63 engine will have more love treatment from the BMW M division. The engine will be producing more power, expect it to hit the 585-600 bhp mark.

With a 20% reduction in fuel usage when compared with similar sized planes, the plane is also pimped up with bigger windows, larger seat pitch and a so called refreshing looking environment, these are implemented to keep passengers feeling alive after a flight. Right…

That said, the 787 Dreamliner will be displayed in the Fanborough International Airshow for 2 days.

So, Boeing’s answer to the airline business is basically “Small + Efficient”, compared to Airbus “Ginormous + Really Ginormous”. Oh well, be gone 747.

FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom, July 18, 2010 – The third Boeing [NYSE:BA] 787 Dreamliner, ZA003, made its international debut today landing in the UK in time for the opening of the Farnborough International Airshow. The airplane will be on static display for two days and fly home as the final pass of Tuesday’s flying display.

ZA003 features a flight-test interior, including seats and lavatories in addition to the flight test equipment required to monitor the performance of the airplane during operations. The 787 offers many unique passenger amenities including dimmable window shades, larger windows, bigger overhead baggage bins, cleaner air and higher cabin humidity. The combined effect is a better flying experience for passengers.

This might just be the biggest disaster (replacement of Megan Fox was one of them), or perhaps the best decision ever made by Bay. Anyways, what’s the deal with these Nascar cars anyway?

Ps. Transformers 4 will feature Formula 1 cars, with Nelson Piquet Jr bitching about the whole production.

Changes expected to be seen are very much cosmetic, that said, there will be less love in the interior department.

The facelift model will see:

1. Headlights to be incorporated with LED’s
2. Angular shaped kidney grills, similar to the F10 5-Series
3. Modified front bumper with a redesigned lower air damp, much like the ActiveHybrid Concept
4. Re-profiled rear spoiler
5. 8-speed transmission
6. Powerboost to the power plants.

The car is expected to be seen unveiled at the 2010 Beijing Motor Show.

What about those long international flights? If the thought of losing your net access for a short trip wasn’t scary enough as it is, going on a 10 hour flight would leave you willing to shank the dude next to you for a chance to update your Facebook status.

Fortunately, Cathay Pacific has just announced that it has come to an agreement with Panasonic Avionics for the provision of full broadband connectivity on all their flights. We’re talking about a 50 Mbps line, an in-flight mobile phone GSM service as well as pay-per-view live television available to all passengers beginning early 2012. Hopefully, other airlines will be quick to follow suit, or I know who I’m booking my flights with.
